Bret Belohlav

Bret Belohlav is a Partner at BHC and is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee.

Bret is responsible for the sourcing and due diligence of new investment opportunities across the small market buyout sector. He is also responsible for the monitoring and reporting of existing portfolios. Prior to joining BHC, Bret was an Investment Analyst for the James Irvine Foundation where he focused on sourcing, identifying, and analyzing new investments as well as performing ongoing portfolio maintenance. Previously, Bret served as an Investment Analyst with Pavilion Advisory Group (fka Stratford Advisory Group), an investment consulting firm focused on pension funds, endowments, foundations, corporations, and healthcare organizations. Bret received his Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Finance, with minors in Accounting and Philosophy from DePaul University.
